The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) remains steadfast in its mission to uplift the lives of the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged sectors of society. As part of its commitment to accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, the Department conducts the Integrated Performance Review and Evaluation Workshop (IPREW) as a key mechanism to assess progress, identify challenges, and formulate responsive strategies in achieving its strategic objectives.
This 2024 IPREW Management Report provides a comprehensive review of the Department’s performance during the two semesters of the year. It highlights key accomplishments, operational challenges, and areas for improvement across various programs and services. The report serves as a tool for executive officers to implement necessary interventions, ensuring that each office is aligned with the Department’s Strategic Plan and remains responsive to the evolving needs of its beneficiaries.
Through a multi-level review process, the report consolidates performance insights from the Field Offices then elevated to their Central Office Bureaus, Services counterparts, focusing on the implementation of Social Welfare and Development (SWD) programs, regulatory functions, disaster response initiatives, and support services. It also presents strategic recommendations to guide management in addressing performance gaps and enhancing service delivery.
