Quality Management

Quality management at DSWD was initially managed by the Policy and Development Planning Bureau (PDPB), which led initiatives to standardize processes and implement quality improvement frameworks across the Department. These efforts were instrumental in DSWD’s pursuit of ISO Quality Management System (QMS) certification. The Quality Management Key Result Area (KRA) was later transferred to the Office of the Assistant Secretary for GASSG to strengthen institutionalization and oversight. Today, this KRA is under the DSWD Internal Audit and Management Service (IAMS), ensuring continuous monitoring, evaluation, and enhancement of departmental processes and services.
