Welcome to the PDPB Planning Knowledge Portal, your gateway to the Department’s strategic directions, planning tools, and sectoral insights.
The Planning Division leads the Department in shaping long-term and operational strategies while ensuring alignment with the SWD Sector Plan and the Department Strategic Plan. It manages a wide portfolio of functions that include:
Formulating and updating plans such as the SWD Sector Plan and the Department Strategic Plan.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of strategies and plan implementation.
Developing tools and frameworks for planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
Providing technical and secretariat support to Technical Working Groups on strategic management, planning and budgeting, and sectoral planning.
Extending technical support to inter-agency committees such as the SDC-SCSP and IAC-SPS.
Supporting performance management as secretariat to the Performance Management Team (PMT).
Through this portfolio, the Planning Division strengthens the Department’s capacity to deliver social welfare and development programs that are foresight-driven, accountable, and results-oriented, ensuring services that are both effective and sustainable.
