Met-Ed, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., is continuing its partnership with Reading Area Community College (RACC) to bring this unique opportunity to interested candidates. RACC is offering an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electric Utility Technology for those interested in a career as a line worker or substation electrician.
An added bonus to qualified candidates accepted into the program is that FirstEnergy pays tuition, required books and lab fees.

To take the first step towards securing their future, prospective candidates should attend an information session to learn about how they can get involved with this exciting opportunity. At the session, company representatives will provide more details about FirstEnergy's PSI program, and describe the skills, abilities and attitude needed for the line worker or substation electrician professions.
