This is a one-day, interactive, hands-on educational experience geared toward educating local students about healthcare professions including medical and non-medical focus areas. Participation and registration for this program is done through the student’s local public school and registration spots are limited depending on the size of the program at each Geisinger campus.

• This event is intended to showcase health care related careers… everything from nursing to trauma to health care IT.
• Eligible participants are 10^th and 11^th graders from local school districts in the Wilkes Barre / Scranton service area
• Each segment of the day will include a hands-on component to make the experience more interesting and educational.
• Each student will be able to participate in 6 different sessions throughout the day.
• The event is scheduled for Thursday April 4th from 8:30am -2pm at Holiday Inn Wilkes-Barre - East Mountain.
• Free breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided throughout the day
