We are reaching out to invite you to our first ever, “Why Humanities? Day”, which will be held on April 16th, 2019 with registration from 8-8:30am for students grades 9-12. They day will consist of a welcome, interactive sessions, and lunch where the students will have an opportunity to interact with faculty and students in our Humanities majors with the day concluding around 1pm. Please see the attached agenda for a tentative schedule for the day.
The event will be hosted by our faculty in our English, History, Medical and Health Humanities, Philosophy Departments, as well as the Art Gallery, and will consist of the students rotating through interactive learning sessions to gain a better understanding of what the fields of humanities have to offer.
