R and RStudio are available on most Data Science servers via web browser, hosted on the following sites with specific versions for each as specified.
R (multiple versions) is available on all compute servers and our HPC cluster.
RStudio is available on all servers with a default R version. The servers listed below contain multiple R versions, JupyterLab, Positron Pro, and VS code and can be accessed on the web by clicking the https:// links while on the internal DFCI/MGB network:

We have over 1200 different packages installed in our R installations. We encourage users to Contact Systems for package installation requests, almost all requests are fulfilled within a day or two.
To access RStudio you will need to be connected to the internal network on-site, or be connected to VPN.
Once prompted to log in, you can enter your DS username/password (Unix account) and go from there. If you run into issues on one host, try an alternative one.
If all else fails, please ask for help! Contact the Systems team or ask in a relevant Slack channel for troubleshooting and assistance.
