Geography
A survey was conducted by students of Bhagyalaxmi Sarla Gurusahani Memorial school about social impact of covid and vaccination. Through this online survey, parents of students of BSGM school sent their responses to the questionnaire.
We segregated the areas of residence and no. of patients tested positive in each wave.
Following data was obtained from the sample of 116 responses-
No. of infected persons during the first /second/ third wave of Corona.
2. Population Density of the area of residence of the people involved in survey.
Hypothesis
Before conducting this survey we believed that density of population is directly proportional to the number of covid patients.
Data from Survey
The survey helped us to study the distribution of population and spread of covid-19 infection. To our surprise the data did not match our Hypothesis.
Primary Data from Govt. of Maharashtra
The data on the Govt. site showed that our Hypothesis is right and thus we used the data for further study.
Conclusion
The actual trend of spread of Corona infection with population density could not match with Government data because the sample data we collected was too small to come to any conclusion. Thus, we realise that to reach the right conclusion it is important to have right data and sample size should be large.

From above maps we could conclude that there is a co-relation between population density and spread of the pandemic. More the population density more is the spread of pandemic.
Through this project we learned many skills like preparing Choropleth maps, Line Graphs, Differentiation based on statistical data and co-relation. We also understood that representing the statistical data on maps or graphs is extremely convenient for studying and analysing any geographical aspect. Sometimes numerical data can be more confusing than interpreting maps or graphs.
