In the animal room, students constructed bird deflectors to help prevent birds from crashing into windows. Second graders went through the entire Drew Design Process. After researching the problem, the students drew a sketch of their design. They studied the designs of bird deflectors that already exist and then created their first prototypes. Once they tested their prototypes, students made changes in order to improve their prototypes.
