Today we learned that we are starting the semeseter with a sumo robot project.
Above is the briefing for the prototype.
This is a continuation of our project.

This is my sensor working when I put my hand near it. It is able to determine the distance an object is in front of it.
This is a video of my Led lights working.
I drew a sketch of what my robot is going to look like.
This is a picture of my built robot base for my hobby motors.
First I battled with my servo bot and then I battled with my hobby motor bot. I decided to use hobby motors for my final robot because it is able to move much faster then the servo. The only issue with the hobby is that the batteries die quick.
This is a video of me using two buttons to make my robot move.
My plan for my robot at first was to create a bee with a half cone shape on the back that would be used as a drill. I later decided on a ramp instead of the drill. I also used velchro straps as the back stripe of my robot so that it would have easy access to the wiring.

This video showcases my robot doing each action moving foward, backwards, left, right, and stopping. The consideration I made to make my robot a cloud plesear was that I decided to make my robot a bee which is something that is different and it is also very interesting. My robots wow facter is the fact that I made a fighting bee which has a ramp on the back which represents a stinger. The complimentary colors inplemented in my robot are yellow and black. For my robot the principles of design that I incorperated where balance and proportion. For balance I made it so my robot had a balance of yellow and black and for proportion I made it so that the parts of my robot match up nicely and fit snug with the other parts. All of my robot was built in cad and digitally fabricated.
