For our final project in the first semester of Geometry we painted different shapes of glass sheets. We had to find the measurements of each shape and make proofs based on the shapes. The inspiration behind the design was a rocket ship. The 3 elements of art we were trying to go off of is Shape, Color, and Value. The principals of design were pattern, balance, and emphasis. We had to include certain shapes, like parallelograms, into the painting. We have been learning about parallelograms before we began to paint.
