Teaching Assistant Internship
During my Senior Year I have the privilege of teaching 6th and 7th grade beginner harp students. I have learned how to communicate in different ways for different students and become more comfortable in sharing my harp knowledge with a younger generation of students.
Conducting
During this internship I have had the opportunity to conduct certain pieces for the concerts, and during class. I conducted "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" for the 2025 UYHE Winter Concert. I learned how to clearly depict what is going on in the music and spent a lot of time during class rehearsing for the concerts. Currently I am conducting "Running Up That Hill" for the 2026 UHYE Spring Concert, and I look forward to the concert in April. More pictures of me conducting can be found above.
