7/26/2023 What is art? How can other subjects be art?
Art is what you perceive it as. It can be something as simple as a bowl of cereal, or a painting an artist has spent years painting. Art can be incorporated into different subjects with projects and or various different activities. To me music is a form of art but not necessarily art. Art is all around us it is just a matter if people recognize something as art. Art can be almost anything, but it is realy decided by the people.
9-15-23 How could AI hurt or benefit art?
AI could benefit art due to how efficient it can be. Art can sometimes take a very long time to create. AI can hurt art due to how efficient it can be. This could take away the passion behind an art work. People would begin to lose their passion for art.
Mandala Research
The mandala is used to show different actions and feelings of the Gods in religious culture. One principal of design I can see is pattern. Lots of colors are used in a unique pattern. I could make the protons, electrons and neutrons different colors to show a pattern of a certain element. Mandalas are used to focus the mind and meditate.
I have been taught how to use lines to depict certain points of view. I have drawn different patterns and different images that show properties of design. We have learned about mandalas. As well as how they are used in different religions. I can show my process by adding pictures to show each different design of my artwork.
