In groups we created posters that explained the steps to the American Revolution. Connections between events are shown in yellow.
Everyone in the class was randomly assigned a person or innovation from the Market Revolution and created a poster about the effects that person/innovation had on America. My poster is about the Lowell Mills.
As a review right before the AP exam, students each chose the time period that we felt the least comfortable with, and created a one-page review about the unit, including notable people, events, documents, and connections to other units.
On of our final projects for the year was to create a collage in the shape of the classic empowerment fist, often used in the BLM movement, about a cause we care about. I chose to create my collage about the LGBTQ+ rights movement.
