In class we have been creating our own hero to help solve the UN goals. This is my Origin story and It is about my super Hero Waterways and above shows my story board I made to out line what my story is about. 

In class we have read both novels The Odyssey and Beowulf.  In the odyssey Odysseus is the hero. You may ask how and what he does. Odysseus is born a prince of Ithaca in Ancient Greece. He was injured by a boar while hunting which caused a scar that never fades. His power is given a bow by the prince of Messina that no one except for Odysseus can string and shoot. Beowulf's origin is mostly unknown . He is born to a father who is known to be a strong warrior. He claims to have killed a race of giants and monsters on land and sea before arriving in Denmark.  Beowulf has the handgrip of 30 men, so he must have realized this during an early fight. In  my opinion Beowulf is more heroic than Odysseus. Beowulf heroic because he is not selfish and he fights fair. I know this because in the book Beowulf saves the Danes of Demark from the ferocious monster. That shows Beowulf is brave but mainly doing it for his good. Also when Beowulf fights Grendel he fights him with no weapons nor he wear shield, Which shows that Beowulf believes that you should have even fight. Although Odysseys and Beowulf are  both brave Beowulf is more heroic because he is not selfish. I believe Beowulf is the definition of a hero.

In government we have been learning about the Amendments and how they are in role to protect the people. Above shows my have made book of all 27 Amendments. I used that to help me remember my amendments. We was assigned a project on the different types of cases that has to do with one amendments. I chose to do the Miranda vs. Arizona case.

In government we have been learning the different types of governments and what they role are. The tree types of government are Legislative, Judicial, and Executive. We also talked about the different types of economic systems other countries have. (assignment)This assignments tells us the different governments systems and how they work.

In science we learned how to classify matter from substance and Mixture to Element, Compound, Heterogenous, and Homogenous. We even know how to classify matter by looking at molecules. You may ask how, well I know a substance is all particles in matter are identical. And to remember substances can  only be found on the periodic table. So, if you see molecules that's same color (which represents 1 element)its an element. (Ex. Helium, Argon, and Neon) If it's on 2 or more elements that's chemical combined is an Compound. (Ex. H2O and NaCl are compounds) A mixture is two or more substances physically combined. To tell if something homogeneous you can't see the components/ingredients in the substance.(Ex. Bleach, Lemonade, Blood and, Coffee) To tell if a mixture is  heterogenous  you can see the components/ingredients. (Ex. salad, dressing, cereal, and peanut butter) That's how I learned how to classify matter.

We also learned about the periodic table and how it works. The periodic table has 7 periods. (#of rows/ side to side) It also has 18 groups. (# of columns/ up and down) There is 3 sections of the PT which are the metals, metalloids, and non metals. Group 1 is called Alkali metals and it has 1 valence electrons, the 2nd group is called Alkaline Earth metals and has 2 valence electrons, group 3 is called Rare earth metals ,groups 4-12 is called transition metals, 13th group is called Boron group and it has 3 valence electrons, the 14th group is called Carbon group and it has 4 valence electrons, group 15 is called Nitrogen group and it has 5 valence electrons, group 16 is called Oxygen group and it has 6 valence electrons, group 17 is called Halogens group, the last group 18 is called Noble gasses and it has 8 valence electrons except helium it has 2 valence electrons. The PT helps identify elements given a description by applying knowledge of the PT.

In tech we use a website called code.org which helps us program. Through out this semester we have been using it and it has taught be new language of coding. It also taught me in the first lesson how to program characters to move. Now I have gotten to the 10th lesson and I know how to create different animations, add text, how to get my charter to get from one place to another, and change colors of different objects. So I can really say code.org is a good programming site not only it taught be how to do different thing but it was fun!

In class we had to to create a piece of wearable technology for a client. My client was diabetic so I had create some types of technology and clothing to help this client. Not only I made technology but i came up with my own brand. Doing this project helped me understand what dietic people go through on the daily and what are some possible tech that could work to hep other patent with diabetes. (Click here to see my tech)
