During my tenth-grade year, I tried out for the cheerleading team and was selected, despite having no prior experience in cheer. Although the season was brief, it was an enjoyable and meaningful experience that allowed me to develop new skills and work with others. As I enter my eleventh-grade year, I will be cheering on the varsity team, and I look forward to further growth, increased responsibility, and new challenges. 

This was my first time receiving a cheer uniform, and it represented an important milestone in my experience as a cheerleader. Receiving the uniform reinforced my sense of accomplishment and commitment, and I felt both proud and honored to wear it at games while representing my team and school. 

On June 16, 2023, I attended my very first cheer camp, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. I met so many girls from different schools, and it was exciting to connect with people who shared the same passion for cheer as I do. We taught each other new moves, techniques, and routines that we had learned at our own schools, which made the experience even more fun and interactive. The energy, teamwork, and positivity throughout the camp were amazing. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I would absolutely love the opportunity to attend another cheer camp in the future.
