My first college essay rough draft for MS Mayes class was about my background, identity, or a talent. I picked my background and how I be came the successful person I am today. I wrote about my 9th grade year and the struggles I encountered while being at drew but I had the help of MS Cain to have a new start. My point of writing about my background is because my background is apart of me its who makes me and i felt that the people outside needs to hear about my story because it is a story to tell.
