Our food for thought project was about the culture of food and how it was incorporated with geometry, Spanish, chemistry, world literature & world history. We went to a Mexican restaurant to taste the different foods
In Dr Kurt class we made pottery. The pottery I made was a bowl, plates and cups because I wanted it to be something out could eat out of and similar to my project.
In Ms. Gilkey class we went to a field trip to a Mexican restaurant called " Mas Catina"
in Ms. Cain class we had a cookoff and some of us was the western hemisphere and the others were the eastern hemisphere and, how the cook off worked we could only use the foods/seasonings in our hemisphere.
In Ms. wynn class we are combining the idea of identity and heritage and making a recipe of it
In MS. Gardner class we are incorporating chemistry into our food for thought project by learning about the different types of chemical bonds.
