What does it mean to volunteer?  Why would Drew require you volunteer for 100 hours during your high school career?  

To me, volunteering is more than just helping—it’s a way to gain new experiences and connect with people from different walks of life. As someone graduating with over 210 hours, I’ve come to see how volunteering can open your eyes to new cultures, create lasting memories, and shape your perspective. I think Drew’s requirement of over 100 hours is intentional—it pushes us to engage with the world beyond school so we’re not sheltered, but instead more aware, compassionate, and involved.
