Cheerleading

I’ve been cheering since 9th grade, and it’s been a fantastic experience. I love how the original JV squad stayed together all the way through. Now we’re Gamma Squad, and we even have the patch on our letterman jackets! Getting my letterman was such a proud moment. Being on the competition squad made me realize how much I love being a flyer—it pushed me, challenged me, and helped me grow as a cheerleader. One of my favorite memories was when we finished our routine after repeatedly practicing. Even though everyone was tired, we still had fun and kept our energy up—that moment showed how strong and close our team is.
