As a student at Drew Charter, a STREAM school, we are required to track our progress across various classes. The learning journal serves as a tool for us to document our activities, reflect on the challenges we've overcome, and celebrate our achievements. It provides a valuable record of our academic journey and personal growth.
Art is the creation of something or altering of an object to give meaning or create a message for the viewer. The various branches of creative activity, such as painting, music, literature, and dance. This is why the banana taped to the wall is art because it means something. Other subjects like science or history can be art to explain contepts and go in depth of on topics.
Science in Engineering Class (Engineering Concepts)
1) Soldering is the melting of solder to close or connect electrical circuits.
2) The purpose of soldering is to make connection of electrical circuits.
3) Melting point is the temperature that a solid has to be to turn into a liquid.
4) I believe that Copper has a higher melting point because when I was soldering the solder would melt instantly while the copper didn't melt so fast.

On the breakout board the lights indacte how the code will run making it useful for troubleshooting.
This activity aimed to make a chaser pattern to show on our breakout board's LEDs. The light indicators on the board labeled GP0 to GP28 lit up in succession starting at GP0 and ending at GP28. Coding this action was very simple. Defining the different LEDs, turning them on, and then turning them off alternating. As a class, we realized by using the serial that some GPs weren't present on our board.
Drawing practice in Engineering 1-4 8/24/23
Robot Wheel practice
We used a center point circle and a center point rectangle
Robot Chassis
We used a center point rectangle, but then added to symmetrical rectangles using the dimension tool.
Robot Piece
We made made 2 rectangle with the same length but different widths. Then copied and pasted making 2 sets
Side view of car
Using a lot of different tools we made a car shape and made center point circles for wheels.
Drawing practice in Engineering 5-8 9/9/23
Agenda 11
We start off with a rectangle then smaller squares. We used the linear pattern to make then faster.
Agenda 12
I started by making four squares, using the fillet tool we made, and then the curve. I then used the offset tool and cut the inside lines.
Agenda 15
I kind of just used a bunch of tools till I ended off with this very interesting shape.
Agenda 16
We started off by making an eclipse and then doing an offset inside. Then, we cut the inside of the shape.
The normal force is proportional
The direction of the force of friction when your robot is trying to move forward is forward. This is because the wheels are moving downward and friction goes against it to move the robot forward.
The equation for Friction force kinetic is F f = μ k F N. So I can change the object's mass and question and the material to make it more or less grippy.

1. How the mandala is used
A mandala is used to focus the attention of practitioners and adepts.
2. How are mandalas related to world civilizations?
In Hindu and Buddhist cultures in particular, mandalas and thangkas serve as a representation of the universe and a guide on the path to enlightenment. They also are found in yoga studios, dream catchers, healing circles, and other meditative practices
3. What principles of design can you see?
In Mandalas I see the principles of design Movement, Emphasis, Balance, Rhythm, and Unity.
4. How could you use a mandala to show an atom?
I could use a mandala's deep details to make a main big shape and use components of an atom to create it.
OnShape Drawing Practice 13-16. - 10/25/23
Bottom
To make this sketch I used tools such as trim, mirror, Linear pattern, and Dimension.
Front/Back
For the Front and Back I used the same tools but made this part according to my prior measurements.
Left/Right
Also like the Front and Back I used the measurements for this piece by taking the other measurements and usage of many tools.
Assembled
After laser cutting all the pieces of the box. we assembled the pieces using glue.
I had to use the Extrude tool to make my designs 3D before I could build the box on OnShape. Subsequently, I inserted them into an assembly tab and utilized several tools to precisely lock in each side to create the box.

1. What have you been taught about in art this year that relates to other classes? I have been taught in art how to apply geometry in real life.
2. What have you done this year so far that demonstrates you understand Principles of Design and Elements of Art? I have created and described the process I used to complete my mandala project in Chemistry and Art.
3. How do you experiment with different possibilities in your planning and process and how can you show your process? I try to build on other people's ideas or come up with something entirely new by looking at what other people have done. I demonstrate this by taking pictures and talking to peers about it.
4. What famous/historic art have you learned about so far? In art class, we discussed mandalas and their creation, meaning, and applications. Next, create a mandala.

Borax is a multipurpose laundry booster that contains Sodium, Oxygen and Boron. We use the hot water to make the water supersaturated with more of the Borax. Then when the water cools crystals form around our pipe cleaners. My sculpture is dynamic because it the shape of a snake head and moves to the top

People started to use abstract art to fulfil the need felt to create something different and unique. Ancient Egyptian abstract art was designed to benefit a divine or deceased recipient. I don't think abstract art relates to math, but on the other hand the effects of abstract art on the mind is rooted close with science. When it comes to doing art I think it is more enjoyable to in a expressive way rather than a data way.
A mobile e-sports arena is a sophisticated and versatile setup designed to facilitate the seamless transport and deployment of e-sports environments. This comprehensive mobile unit embodies a carefully crafted checklist of essential equipment, furniture, accessories, and technological components, all tailored to create a fully functional and immersive gaming experience on the go.
Motherboard - Connects all of your hardware to your processor, distributes electricity from your power supply, and defines the types of storage devices, memory modules, and graphics cards (among other expansion cards) that can connect to your PC.
CPU - The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the primary component of a computer that acts as its “control center.” The CPU, also referred to as the “central” or “main” processor, is a complex set of electronic circuitry that runs the machine's operating system and apps.
Since attaching the CPU and RAM sticks, we’ve added three more key components: the graphics card, power supply, and storage. The power supply is connected to several parts, and everything seems to click into place nicely. Most components, including the graphics card, CPU, and power supply, come with their fans for optimal cooling. It’s been an enjoyable and rewarding experience building this PC from scratch!
-What did you notice about the tournament?
There is a banning system of characters before the game starts, with 6 characters being banned.
What did you notice about the broadcaster?
He is engaged and having fun broadcasting, displaying excitement, and making me excited
. What did you notice about the game being played?
It is a team-based shooter in the third person with marvel characters like the Hulk and Iron Man. What ckvohcqlvc ovrik pss implement into streaming or broadcasting if you were to host a stream?
Conveying emotion to engage an audience and also explaining the more confusing parts of the game in a very concise manner
I created an exciting game with the main objective of dodging various obstacles that come at you with increasing speed and difficulty. The player must stay focused and avoid these challenges for a set time. Once the timer runs out, you’ll get the chance to perform a slam dunk and score the winning point, which signals the end of the game and your victory. It combines fast-paced movement with a fun reward at the end, making the gameplay both challenging and satisfying.
