As a class we read and studied the story of the Founder of Mali, Sundiata Keita. After, reading the story we were faced with the question "What was the most heroic moment of his journey?". While writing I connected what I believe what a hero is and how Sundiata embodied this.

This is a app we made with Tech and Literature class, using the info about Mali created by Sundiata and the usage of tech to create a cohesive product. I enjoyed working on this because it enabled me the space to be createtive with my desgin and the elements of the app.  

We did a comic strip on the story of Sundiata and were instructed to choose a moment from the story. I choose this moment because I feel like it is a good building block to the end of the story and in my opinion a very sobering moment for Sundiata. I used the images to show the journey to Mema, the severity of his mother’s condition, and finally, the anger that poured over him. I want the viewer to learn how times test people’s character and determine their true strength.
