Most honorable PiecesĀ
In the 8th grade, I created a piece that marked a pivotal moment in my artistic journey: my first official painting of a sunset. It was a significant step forward for me as I ventured deeper into the world of painting. That painting holds a special place in my heart, symbolizing the beginning of my exploration into the captivating realm of sunset-themed art.
This artwork was created shortly after finishing my previous piece, in collaboration with my mom's cousin. After spending an entire day together, we sat down to create art, making for a very enjoyable and memorable experience. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the colors in this painting, adding to the significance of this memory.
This is one of my most meaningful pieces, inspired by one of my favorite songs by my favorite artist. The song is titled "Huey." In addition to being the song's name, "Huey," which has German origins, means soul, mind, or intellect. With this in mind, I created a piece that incorporates the soul, mind, and intellect all in one. It features a figure ascending to represent the soul, a brain to symbolize intellect, and a skeleton to show the mind as a worldly entity rather than a spiritual trait.
This artwork, created during my free time in 10th grade, is one of my best pieces to date. Inspired by my closest friends, I chose to explore the theme of control. In the painting, the outside of the room embodies pure chaos, while the person inside is depicted in blue, symbolizing a peaceful mind. This contrast highlights the dynamic between calm and chaos.
