Cuento Original
For our final project, we had to create, draw, and audio record an original children's story using preterite and imperfect past tenses. This was probably the most challenging project I've faced this year, in this class. I faced a few challenges, such as figuring out a creative story to write about, how I wanted my storyline, illustrating my story, and creating simple sentences using the guidelines provided. I learned how to create simple sentences using the preterite and imperfect tense. Also using the resources provided for me such as Los Cuentos vocab list and Word Reference. In the end, I was able to successfully create a story with creative drawings. They were simple and colorful enough for Spanish beginners and children.
For this project, we were assigned to create a music video in Spanish using different body parts. Kayley and I used an app called Suno to create our song. We told the app what we wanted in the song in terms of a topic, genre of music, and level of comprehension skill. The AI site then generated three songs and we picked this one because it was the most catchy and easiest to choreography to. We listened to the song and created a dance that complimented the song.
