~2k23 Orchestra Universal Trip~

To end off the 9th-grade year, all music classes took a trip to Orlando Universal Studios. We didn't just go there for fun, our mission was to perform/record a soundtrack to a clip of Minions. A month prior we were given music from the movie and we had to rehearse every class period to make sure that we were prepared to perform. When we got there I was really nervous and also excited about the workshop. We rehearsed with the director for about 15 minutes just to run through the music, check sound, tempo changes, etc., just to get a feel of how it was going to go. We played the song twice one with just the orchestra and one with the choir. Along with that, I was able to experience what it was like to be a voice actor. I volunteered to play Margot, the oldest sister because I wanted to try something new and step out of my comfort zone. Overall I enjoyed the trip and I wish to do it again.
