This project, while not a single assignment, was a group of assignments during the time period from mid-September to mid-October. The purpose of these assignments was to learn about Latin culture and it's contributions to modern day society. Some of the things we did were watch videos, worksheets, and many other things. Contrary to what I believed at first, I actually quite enjoyed this time period, as it got us engaged and learning about something unique.
The main thing I learned from this assignment was the in's and out's of Latin culture and the prevalence of it in my own culture as well as how it has shaped my life today. The reason I chose this project is because it took up a whole month of the semester, which means it holds a large amount of weight, and thus deserves a spot on this list.
This project involved us going onto a family tree website, and creating our own, which included all of our family which we can recall. I personally was able to extend to my grandparents and all of my cousins. After we did this we went around the room and described other people's trees in Spanish. The purpose of this activity was to learn more about the Spanish vocabulary, specifically family as you can tell.
I learned a lot from this project. Mainly the vocabulary and descriptions as a whole, which really helped me. This project was a very successful attempt at teaching us vocabulary, and I believe because of it I will be prepared for the final exam. I chose this project because of how much it taught me and how efficient it was at teaching me.
