This was a certain unit in Algebra which caught my attention when I learned it, mainly it's effectiveness. It essentially allows you to convert any unit of measurement in a certain amount of time, to a completely different system with basic knowledge of metrics. I was proud of performing well in this subject because of it's practical use in real life and also the fact that it is an important use in Algebra 1.
I chose this this topic because it's something I enjoy in Math, and if I'm being completely honest, that is a rarity. This was a very knowledge rich subject as well, it taught me a lot about using Math practically and in the real world.
This poster was assigned in pairs, where we would receive a question and answer it on the poster. The beginning step after we received our problem was to solve it. After that, we created a graph, and marked the data points. Finally, we presented to the class and listened to our other classmate's presentations.
I chose this project because quite frankly, there weren't any others to choose from. This was essentially the only real 'project' which stood out throughout the year. One thing I learned was solving math problems with a partner and trading your knowledge in the subject.
