The YWrite Project was a 10-week process where I planned, wrote, edited, and published my own original book. I started by brainstorming ideas and creating an outline, then drafted my manuscript in sections while developing characters, plot, and themes. After completing the draft, I revised and edited my work using peer and teacher feedback.
In the final stage, I formatted my book for publication and presented it at the YWrite showcase. This project helped me improve my creativity, writing skills, and ability to complete a long-term project from start to finish.
LEUKOCYTE PROJECT
The White Blood Cell Poster/Creative Paper Project focused on exploring the immune system by researching and presenting all nine types of white blood cells. The project required accurate explanations of each cell’s function, role in immune defense, and key characteristics, along with clear organization and visual design. Through this project, I demonstrated my understanding of how the immune system works while combining scientific knowledge with creativity and presentation skills.
