For this project my group (Jamauri J., Justin C., and Maya A.) and I worked together to create a timeline that would portray the events leading to the American Revolution. We included illustrations to bring a visual aspects as well as connections to give understanding as to how the events relate to each other. Overall, this was a helpful collaborative experience that helped me to gain a better understanding of how the American revolution came to be.

For this project I was tasked with creating a one page visual of the important events that occured during the time period 1800-1848. There are images to help define the event or occurence and then a few words or brief description to explain it.

For this project, I used Canva to create a visual presentation focused on student movements from the 1960s to the present. I began with a fist-themed template and inlaid photographs of prominent student activists, group photos, quotes, and images from major protests and demonstrations throughout the decades. I also included a written component of at least three sentences that explains the historical context, key actions, and significant individuals involved in student-led movements over time.
