The purpose of Food for Thought was to discuss learn, and cook foods from different cultures. This is the part of Food for Thought I did in Ms.Wynns English class. Me and my table mates made a recipe using ingredients that had a personal and significant value to each of our cultures.
This was the part of Food for Thought that we did for Ms.Cains World History class. We had a cooking competition where there were 4 teams per class, 2 cooked foods with ingredients from the Western Hemisphere, and the other 2 teams cooked foods with Ingredients from the Eastern Hemisphere. The finished dishes were judged, and at the PBL showcase the winners of each class competed to win.
This was the part of food for thought we did for Dr. Kurt's class, we created ceramic place settings inspired by the pottery artwork of other cultures. We displayed these place settings later at the Food for Thought PBL Showcase. More examples of this pottery are shown in the slideshow below.
