For the Guernica project, the entire 10th-grade class created separate pieces of art for a work that would eventually be put together into one large piece. Based on Picasso's Guernica, all of the different sections created represented a major world issue that was taking place at the time, my group used our section to discuss climate change.
The Food for Thought Project was done throughout most of my 10th-grade classes; the main contributors were AP World History, World Literature, and Visual Arts. In this, we connected food to culture and learned the history behind the foods we know and love today. We learned to be more aware of what we eat and what it really means.
The Electron Mandala Project took place in my Chemistry, Visual Arts, and AP World History classes. In this project, we studied the history of Mandalas and then made one. But the trick was, our mandals were made to replicate a specific element that we had learned about in Chemistry.

Hola, me llamo Anbaelle Hebner. Yo es en 10th grado. Narcotraffico es muy importante porque es responsable para mucho violencia, por ejemplo homicidios. Las pandillas en latinoamérica es muy peligrosa. Tambien, queremos informar al público que drogas es muy mal. Nosotros podemos hacer un anuncio de servicio público. My project topic for this was drug trafficking, and I worked with Amber Nelms. Our article was about how gang trafficking drugs led to increasing levels of homicides and deaths. This is an important topic because people's lives are on the line. These Latin American gangs are dangerous and lead to violence. This topic is important to talk about and spread awareness about, something people could do through more widespread PSA's, that are similar to the ones we have made in this project.

School Fights Survey for Algebra II
In fights, most people in the school body don't participate. But, these same people can still egg them on. Many people witness fights in person, but commonly people also see them in Movies or TV shows. While people don't try to aggravate a fight, they still like running towards one and taking a video of it. And next to no one would truthfully break up a fight. People seem to view fights as a spectacle rather than something to be worried about. And maybe if we limit the ability to view fights, fictional or real, it may discourage actual fights.
In the project, my role was to help come up with ideas, put the survey together, help make the slideshow, and share the survey with others. I learned that surveys are not just about taking answers, but what you do with the information. Next time I would not do convenience sampling, and aim to get answers from different groups of people.
