In this project, I researched a real-life application of gas laws and explained how pressure, volume, and temperature affect everyday situations. I identified the gas law involved, solved a related math problem, and explored a profession that uses this knowledge. This project helped me better understand how chemistry concepts apply to the real world.
In this project, I created a foldable to demonstrate my understanding of ionic and covalent bonding. I explained how each type of bond forms, the role of valence electrons, and how periodic trends influence bonding between different atoms. This project helped reinforce the differences between ionic and covalent bonds and improved my ability to visually organize and explain chemistry concepts.
For this project, in chemistry, we did a trailer based off the book "The Disappearing Spoon". This book talks about the periodic table and how it is made. In this video, we talked about how the periodic table interacted with human life. My group members were Sydney Gaines, Zediwa De Jesus, Ayo McGregor, and Darion Peeterson.
