In class we were learning about the different law's of motion. This day, we were covering what Newton's First Law of Motion is. Newton's First Law of Motion is an object at rest will stay at rest until acted upon an outside force. To give us an example of this, he showed us a humorous video of a kid attempting to pull a sheet from a table without making the silverware fall on the floor.
I picked this assignment because it was helpful when learning but also lightened up the mood of us learning new material. Video's like these or other video is a helpful way to remember material. This is why I still remember this video, even everyone outside of the classroom was speaking upon the video that the teacher showed.
In Physics, we do many labs that is helpful way to remember information that is taught. In the beginning of class he teaches the new material and gives notes about them. After this we usually do a lab and work in groups. In the packet we usually have different sections and once you finish a section you have to get a signature to move on to the next section.
I really like the labs, because it gives you a better visual aid on how to either measure things like Kinetic Energy or Potential Energy. It also helps you understand the meaning of what he went over in the beginning of class better.
