1) What is FPS as it relates to a PC or monitor?

• FPS, or Frames Per Second, is the number of images consecutively played each second, with higher FPS providing  smoother framerate and gameplay.

2) Explain how HZ affect FPS.

• HZ, or Hertz, is how frequently a monitor will refresh itself to display the live gameplay. A higher HZ is better if you are runnning on high FPS because it can support it and will more frequently refresh each second.  A low HZ but high FPS doesn't work well due to the monitor not being able to support such frequent refresh rates.

1) What are 3 pros/benefits with PC Gaming?

• More customizable / more oppurtunity for user preference

• More game support / compatibility

• Able to be updated to keep up with the latest hardware, without switching out entire system

2) What are 3 cons/challenges with PC Gaming?

• Not very portable

• Harder to diagnose errors/hardware issues

• More expensive 

11/14 3 Things I've Learned

Esports has taught us many things about what goes into game broadcasting, as well as game design and much more. I've learned what goes into starting a game production career, including game art and the steps leading up to a career. We used Earsketch to learn how to make game soundtracks as well as other sound design, like sound effects. I now know how to successfully broadcast and stream my game to viewers.

1: I didn’t think Mario would be 1.

2: It shows how people feel playing games and it could be useful for game development.

3: All of these games are popular so making stressful games might be the best thing to do.

4: If you want to calm down you might not wanna play these games.

Game Dynamics

I learned that the presence of a game is about how immersive devs can make the game to the player. It relates to the game's world, similar to Legend of Zelda BOTW. The story directly relates to the world surrounding the MC, with every part of the world having some affect on the lore.
