In this assignment, my group and I were instructed to build a corn-hole board. Once built we would then try to sell our boards. First, we had gathered our material to make the board. We then made posters advertising the corn-hole board. took lessons on learning how to price goods based on how much it cost to make. After the corn-hole was finished, each of us would take turns selling our board.
Reflection This process took time and hard work for each individual to play a part in a role. We also had our teacher, Ms. White, to help us along the way. This taught me how to be a team member and how people decision affect other people.
This a detailed list of requirements we have to complete in order to meet the needs of the person in charge of the project.
These are the steps we took in order to learn how to make the end project. It also helped us with the making of the end project
For this project we are creating a kinetic sculpture using moires and gears. This will be used for the enjoyment for the user.
The first benchmark we had to do was have the parent gear spin twice the speed of the child gear.
The second benchmark we had to do was to make the parent gear go in the same direction a the child gear.
Our third benchmark was to get LEDs to go RGB.
One of the tasks that we had to accomplish was to laser cut a pumpkin.
We also used the laser cutter to cut out our name in pieces of cardboard
Using arduino we used a code to make a servo spin left and right.
We also made two sketches of what we wanted our moires to look like. They also had to follow the constraints of a repeated radial distance, and it had to have repeating shape. My repeated shapes are the squiggly lines in between.
This is the second moire sketch we did on the CAD service Inkscape.
This is the first moire sketch we did on the CAD service Inkscape.
