We haven't done a project in this class so far either but we have done big worksheets called amsco's. They are helpful worksheets that help walk you through the topic by giving related texts.
SO far these have been really had to fit time in to get them done, but i have to do them so I have had to do most of them at school.
For this project we made food out of goods we brought from our house. We then separated the foods into the different hemispheres that they would have been on during transcontinental trade. Each hemisphere would be able to steal goods from one side but if food got infected then one person from your team would not able to cook for the remainder of the time.
We had a class debate on whether the crusades were good or bad for Europe. We were given 30 minutes to research our topic and any counterpoints. We already had a few lessons on the topic so we knew some info going in. But we go an hour to debate and the winner got extra credit.
