DRC being one of the prestigious colleges operating under Delhi University holds a leading position in academics and co- curricular activities. Affine- the Mathematics Association has emerged itself in 1964 as one of the leading mathematics department of the country facilitating quality education and providing a growth in the development of research. Initially, mathematics was offered as one of the Discipline subjects in B.A. (Prog.). Later on, B.Sc.(H) Mathematics was introduced in the year 2006.

Mathematics has always been the driving force behind all human endeavors as it provides a better analysis to different apprehensions in discrete ways. It has made students to enjoy solving the problems in everyday life and itself explored and surrounded to a vast range of usual sum and difference.

Affine aims at providing proficient knowledge of Mathematics thereby invoking creative minds to discover explicitly. It initiates to enhance the skill of exercising things in a way that develops interest among the students adopting easy methods attractive enough for research in the real world challenges. This enables them to evolve various solutions to a single problem.
