What is a DSA THEATRE BOOSTER?
DSA Theatre boosters include anyone who supports DSA theatre who is not a current DSA student—parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, alumni, and community members.
Why do we NEED Boosters?
The DSA theatre program allows students to engage in all areas of theatre: sound production, set design, costumes, marketing, stage management as well as acting. With all these opportunities and a robust show lineup each year, it takes lots of support!
What do Boosters DO?
Theatre boosters support the program in many different ways throughout the year by:
Donating food and drink items for our concessions
Donating toward show essentials such as set materials, lights, and play copyright costs
Donating stage crew requested supplies such as duct tape or specific prop requests
Volunteering on set build days or post-show set break down (strike)
Donating snacks during dress rehearsal and show weeks
Attend shows or become season ticket patrons
Publicize shows in the community
Help fund and support the DSA theatre program and productions
