Abbie began working at the Telsey + Co in 2007. She has since had the opportunity to work on numerous projects at Telsey + Co ranging from commercials, films, musicals and plays. Her recent projects include the first season of the CBS TV series A GIFTED MAN and the pilots HALLOWED HALL and the past three seasons of THE BIG C. Currently casting Season 4 of THE BIG C. Abbie recently won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting - Television Series - Comedy! Most recent projects include: PETER PAN Live for NBC, THE LAST FIVE YEARS Film, THE SOUND OF MUSIC Live for NBC, New York casting for HBO's LOOKING and New York casting for Showtime's PENNY DREADFUL.
Juan Castano is a Colombian-American actor known for his roles in film, television, and critically acclaimed stage productions. He gained widespread recognition for portraying Miguel in Amazon's Red, White & Royal Blue and voicing Osvaldo in Disney's Encanto.
Castano was born in Cali, Colombia, and later moved to the United States. He built a highly decorated off-Broadway and regional theater career, starring in productions like Transfer (which won him a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actor), Oedipus El Rey, and The Inheritance. For his overall excellence in off-Broadway theater, he received the prestigious Drama Desk's Sam Norkin Award.
On television, he has appeared in prominent Netflix series, including What/If, Tales of the City, and The OA. He also co-starred opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor in the biographical drama film Rob Peace.

Andrew Hartman is a company manager on Broadway. He recently visted our students at DSA in 2025 and offered feedback and answered questions while they were working on the teen edition of HADESTOWN. Broadway: Hadestown, Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song. Off-Broadway: Verso, Cruel Intentions and 50 Shades! The Musical. He previously worked at 321 Theatrical Management and Maximum Entertainment, providing administrative support to several productions such as Wicked, Next to Normal and Peter and the Starcatcher. Mora writes character-driven comedies under a blanket in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Notable productions of her work include The Weird Sisters Theatre Project, The Women’s Theatre Festival, 5th Wall Productions and Pittsburgh Opera, in addition to multiple productions at high schools and colleges. Her work has received development through City Theatre Company, Hangar Theatre, Alliance/Kendeda, Sewanee Writers’ Conference and the Kennedy Center’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center Fellowship. She was a two-time National Finalist for the Kennedy Center’s John Cauble Award for Outstanding Short Play and second place for the Alfred P. Sloan Script Competition. She holds a B.A. in creative writing and theatre from Oberlin College and an M.F.A. in dramatic writing from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied with Rob Handel. She works as a teaching artist for City Theatre and teaches writing at the University of Pittsburgh.
After graduating from DSA, Emma went on to study musical theater at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. In addition to her training at BoCo she has studied at American Ballet Theatre’s summer program and the UNCSA summer dance program. After graduating, she moved to Atlanta and booked her first job out of school as Connie Wong in A Chorus Line directed by Tony award winning Baayork Lee. Later that year she reprised her role in the international tour of A Chorus Line, traveling to Japan. She grew up performing and doing local and school productions while continuing to take voice lessons, acting workshops, and ballet classes, and has appeared in summer stock and regional theatre, national commercials, and movies.
Adrian Boyes graduated from DSA in 2007 and went on to study theatrical costume design at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond VA. She spent one semester in London at Wimbledon University of the Arts studying costume design. While in school Adrian worked at a variety of regional theaters including The Virginia Shakespeare Festival, The Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and the Maples Repertory Theater. She graduated in 2011 and moved up to New York City where she has worked on a variety of Broadway shows including Leap of Faith and Bring It On:The Musical. Adrian has found a home at The Public Theater and Shakespeare in the Park where she has worked on seven different shows. She is currently working at the costume shop Parsons-Meares and is helping to build costumes for The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, The Las Vegas Ballet, and Barnum and Baily Circus. Adrian's most recent credit includes working on costumes for Sarah Jessica Parker in AND JUST LIKE THAT.
