This year on 23rd December, our school had organized a program to celebrate Christmas. The celebration was held in our school garden . The entire garden was beautifully decorated with balloons , festivals, lights, posters, and models. All the students and faculty members were very excited and filled with enthusiasm for the celebration. Students came to school wearing red and white dresses. The ceremony began with prayer at 9:00 am.

After that, various programs were organized one after the other. One of which was a performance where a group of class 2nd students presented a beautiful play on the theme of Christmas. Then after, a man disguised as Santa Claus came with a bag containing several gifts. Santa Claus was roaming all over the garden giving presents to all the little children. Also, the song Jingle Bells was playing in the background. Our principal Dr.Pushpy Dutt gave a very detailed speech on the reason of celebrating Christmas. Along with this, the principal mam wished everyone a very happy Christmas and also gave a short motivational speech. Santa went on to visit every class and also gifted the kids.

The little kiddos excitement was unmatchable. To spice up the event , kids from classes 1 and 2 went on to put stalls. Games were to arranged for the kids to enjoy. Along with this , Principal mam wished everyone a very merry Christmas and also gave a short motivational speech.

Delhi Public School Nashik celebrated"Funathon '' Annual Sports Day 2022-23 in the school campus on 3rd December 2022. Opening of the event was done by Miss.Gauri Gahilodh and Miss.Gargi Ghumare, the comperes with an inspiring thought on sports an indispensable element of a student’s life. The event further developed with a torch and oath by the guest. The event rolled out further showcasing the Principal of the school, Dr. Pushpy Dutt elucidating the sports events being practiced religiously on the campus for the overall development of students. The presence of an eminent sports person Mr. Vijay Kakad-Ironman, our chief guest, graced the occasion. Further events unfolded various challenges given to the students of grades 1-2 like hurdle race, blind fold race, balloon race with the partner, lava race, basketball drill, kabaddi drill, kung fu drill and yogasana drill. Sports song and dance panned out in the sporting event filled with fun and laughter. Parents showcased their enthusiasm by participating in the games like rugby, standing kho kho and mollki.Students reflected a cheerful site by supporting up mom and dad to play all these games. All the participants were awarded with medals by our respected chief guest.The event culminated with the national anthem and a vote of thanks extending gratitude to the attendees for making the "Funathon '' sports event a grand success.
