SALUTING OUR SOLDIERS FOR THEIR FORTITUDE ON ARMY DAY
The assembly was to honor our country's soldiers, who set the most exceptional example of selfless service and brotherhood, and above all, love for the country. Students of Delhi Public School Nashik, thought of dedicating their day to our brave soldiers by conducting a special assembly. They danced to show a soldiers life dressed up as army personnel, shared interesting facts about the Indian Army and also prayed for their safety.
The icing to the cake was that, there were a few parents who witnessed the assembly and also spoke to the children congratulating them for the grade assembly put up by them and also discussing what freedom is.
World Kindness Day is celebrated annually on 13th November. On this day, participants attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness, either as individuals or as organizations. Grade 2 students of Delhi Public School Nashik decided to conduct a special assembly.They presented a group song to inspire everyone present there to be kind to others. Information sharing about the kindness day helped students to understand the importance of this day and significance of kind attitude towards all the living beings.
Teachers enactment and live question and answers sessions made this assembly more interactive.
"Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals & happiness."
Every year ‘Kisan Diwas’ is celebrated on 23rd December, It is also the birth anniversary of India's Fifth Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh.
So to appreciate and honour the hard work of our farmers to the society, children of Grade 2 C had performed a small skit to make the children understand the hard work of the farmers. How the food come in the market and how people consume it without any tension.Assembly was taken forward with a beautiful song Megha Megha re barso barso…girls danced this melodious song .With the discussion children had recapitulated the work of farmer in our lives.
“Let us not forget that the cultivation of the earth is the most important labour of man.’’
Indeed it was a wonderful assembly.
