Welcome Back to School Kaiser Families!
I am glad to see all of you again! Music is my second passion and has lead me to a love for history, culture, and composing which I work to share with all of my students!
Personal (Non-musical life): My faith is my first passion and I have the privilege to serve in many ways within my faith community. I have two beautiful cats Anita and Patches. I love reading: history, science, and religion are my favorite topics. I love the great outdoors and am an avid hiker and camping (even the wilderness survival kind). Gardening is a blast and I hand built my entire garden including growing 80% of it from seed. I enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen.
Musical life: I am the Director of the Thornton Community Chorus where I teach Adult Choir, Music Theory/Composition, and Singing technique. I am a composer with multiple pieces that have premiered with the Brighton Orchestra. I have been a worship leader for several years. Multiple times I have received the opportunity to be a guest conductor/clinician: including the Brighton Orchestra, Citywide Honor Choir for Elementary, and Pinnacle High School and Middle School. Singing is my musical love. I am classical trained (Operatic Baritone-Tenor). I have used this in many capacities as a teacher and performer within the cities of Thornton, Brighton, and Westminster.
