Mrs. Senior

Hello and welcome to our class's homepage!

My name is Mrs. Senior and I am so excited to be your 5th grade teacher this year! This will be my fourth year teaching, third year as a Kaiser Leopard. I am looking forward to creating more memories with a new group of students and to starting this school year off with lots of discovery and fun.

In 5th grade you will complete ELA novel studies about human rights, biodiversity and the rainforest, and the impact of sports in American culture. In math we will delve deep into lots of math concepts such as: multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and a bit of geometry. In science we will be starting a new curriculum called Amplify and study the solar system, ecosystems, and matter and its properties.
