As part of the transition into Year 7, all new students will participate in an Academic Assessment Testing Day. The purpose of this assessment is to provide us with a snapshot of each student’s current skills in key areas such as literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving. These results enable teachers to understand each child’s strengths and areas for development, ensuring that learning needs are supported and appropriate extension is provided where required.
Please note: students do not need to prepare for these assessments. They are simply one part of the overall picture we use to support a smooth transition into the College.
Students are required to:

Bring snacks and a water bottle
Bring a book to read in case they finish early
