Greetings NSE Families,
The first week of November afforded us the valuable opportunity to engage directly with families during Parent Conferences. These meetings served as an important touchpoint to discuss student progress, celebrate achievements, and identify areas for continued growth and support. We were thrilled to have over 95% of our student body represented at conferences, demonstrating the strong partnership between home and school. This high level of participation reflects the commitment of our families to their children’s education and our staff’s dedication to maintaining open, meaningful communication that supports each student’s academic and social success.
I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible work of our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). Their dedication and tireless efforts greatly enhance our school community and provide meaningful opportunities for our students. Whether coordinating events such as Trunk or Treat, the Book Fair, and the Read-A-Thon, or leading fundraising initiatives that support essential programs, the PTO’s impact is both significant and deeply valued. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all PTO members for their enthusiasm, commitment, and continued partnership. Your involvement makes a lasting difference, and I encourage others to join in supporting this wonderful organization that benefits both our students and staff.
Take care and have a fantastic fall season!

Tis the season for respiratory illnesses to be shared. Talk to your child about covering their cough and good handwashing. Many respiratory illnesses do not have medicines that cure the illness. If your child is sick, keep them home. Let them rest and recover.
Encourage fluids and if you are worried about their breathing or have other concerns, have them seen by their pediatrician.
If your child needs cough drops, they must be kept in the nurse’s office. Please send them labeled with your child’s name and a note stating that they may have them during the school day.
