Every student will be provided with a Finn Valley hardback Homework Diary. It is important to record your homework for every subject. If you are not assigned homework for a particular class you should note 'No Homework' beside that subject. Your parent /guardian must sign your diary every week and your class teacher will check that you are using your diary correctly during Well being class on Monday mornings.
You should attempt all homework assigned to you. If you are finding an activity difficult ask for help at home. Always attempt each activity assigned. Even when you fear your answer is not correct, the teacher will be satisfied that you tried your best.
The recommended time to be spent on homework for 1st and 2nd years is between 1.5 hrs and 2 hrs.
