Intern Support Team

University Supervisors/Resident Mentor – provides weekly scripted observations and participates in evaluation.

Support Provider – assigned by school administrator; provides daily oversight and participates in evaluation.

School Administrator – orients Intern, serves as a resource, and evaluates through district policies and agreements.

Credential Analyst - provides oversight, support, coordination and compliance with regard to state requirements.

Content Coaches (Single Subject only) - provides support specific to single subject content areas.

Program Director - provides support and guidance specific to the subject matter university curriculum

Internship Pathway Agreement  


CTC requires all intern teachers to complete and document 144 hours of general  support (GS) per school year (i.e., through the last day of contracted instruction with students). Additionally, for interns who do not hold an English learner (EL) authorization, an additional 45 hours of EL support is required.
