Bias Incident Report
“I Belong Here” with Guest Speaker, Josue Castillo (he/him), Tuesday, November 14, 2023
Description: In our upcoming, “I Belong Here," series with Josue Castillo Morales, he will share more about his experience as an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala and moving his way through U.S. education positively representing underrepresented populations.
As this is one story, captured in real-time with a live audience, Josue values human connection and welcomes an interactive format. Questions from our in-person audience will be moderated by Louis Knecht for a richer dialogue, demonstrating the extension of one into our broader Dominican community.
Let us also acknowledge and celebrate Josue on his recent achievement as one of the 10,000 Degrees alumni members to receive a 2023 Changemakers Award.
