APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
This course deals with the theme of social responsibility applied to the identity of brands, companies, or public institutions, from the point of view of both operational practices and public communication. The first didactic module is committed to the strategies that activate social and cultural networks through project development. The second didactic module goes in-depth on the ethical, regulatory and operational aspects that are typical of the international non-profit cooperation sector.
The programme grants 12 credits, divided as follows:

Successful students will be able to:
BRAND STRATEGY:
Understand and develop project briefs around corporate social responsibility
Understand and develop project briefs around the mission of agencies, associations or public institutions.
Carry out thorough analysis of the distinctive values of a company or brand, of the elements that define them as compared to their competitors, as well as of their development, marketing and communication strategies
Create a consistent and precise system to represent the identity of a company or a brand within the scope of social responsibility
INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION:
Build the necessary competences to understand local and global development dynamics, and the long-term growth in the different local, national and international systems
Evaluate and study the relations among different wealth level areas, in order to adopt policies that can foster development
Build the necessary competences to identify project opportunities and to plan international cooperation activities

Projects within the scope of graphic and visual communication
INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION:
Introduction to international geopolitics
Economics and sociology of development

This is a theoretical/project based course. Over the course, the students will carry out didactic activities that are functional to achieving the learning goals, that in both modules may include:
Classroom lectures
Exercises and revisions
Field trips, workshops
Development of individual or group projects
Individual or group study and research
Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools for detailed study
The didactic modules that make the course will be assessed separately. The final grade will result from the weighted average of all marks. Assessment is based on a check of learnt skills and technical abilities, and may include:
Oral exam
Papers
Complete projects
Assessed revisions or mid-term tests
