This course presents a fundamental understanding of animal
characteristics, structure, function, and conservation. Studies include many dissection labs and research projects to introduce zoological concepts. Emphasis is on diversity and comparative anatomy of animals and fundamentals of physiology, anatomy, behavior, and conservation. This course improves the skills necessary for success at a university or technical school in the area of veterinary science, vet technology, or biology.
*It is highly recommended that the student has received a C or higher in Biology and have successfully completed Chemistry.
